The first dated foundation

The earliest dated project material available for this record is from 18 May 2026. That day’s foundation work established a corporate operating structure alongside the website: named areas for editorial work, manuscripts, production, brand, governance and technology. The point was to make each kind of information discoverable without requiring someone to remember the conversation that created it.

The foundational documents described what the publishing house was for, how decisions would be made and where the authoritative record belonged. Folder indexes and document metadata supplied a second layer of orientation. A new contributor could begin with a short introduction, then follow links into the relevant work.

One home for each record

The project plan adopted a single canonical location for each document. A reference in another folder should point to it, rather than create a competing copy. That matters when a research note changes: the next reader should not have to guess which version represents the current position.

Session handovers were part of the same design. They recorded changes, open questions and the next action, so work could continue across people and tools without quietly losing its reasoning.

A foundation, not a publication claim

The record supports the completion of the operating structure. It does not establish that an editorial programme had already produced a published catalogue. The website’s identity and brand assets existed within a larger organisation still building its working methods. Keeping those two states distinct remains useful: a polished public page cannot substitute for a reliable internal record.
